Domaine Mélandi - Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot
This Red wine, is a perfect balanced of power and elegance. Bold, cabernet forward, yet in control to not be too much.
First nose is very fruity, blackberry, black cherry with some tabacco and spices notes. On the palate it is smooth, full body, with some tanin still a bit youthful, but ripe tanins, the finish is refreshing, long lasting.
The new kid on the block with a lot of experience and savoir-faire!
Fabien from Domaine Mélandi, is a brand new producers in the Sauternes and Entre-deux-Mers, sub-regions of Bordeaux, but he is packed with experience, from California, New Zealand, South Africa, Chateau Fieuzal, and more than 10 years in Yquem.
With only 2.5 Ha, he produce everything by hands to the best quality possible, with the least intervention possible, only help being the sheeps. No filtration, no gluing, indigenous yeast.
