Jadis is an ode to the old style of wine-making in Beaujolais, a way to remember old tradition and what an exceptional grape like Gamay can do.
This wine is vinified and aged following process described in a book from 1894 (from Vermorel). It is aged for 22 months in oak barrels.

This Beaujolais villages has it all and can compete with the best Crus, full of spices and with great complexity.
Aromas of liquorice, star anis, black cherries, prunes and blackberries, the final is long with dark chocolate notes.

A true powerful wine, with great concentration, opposite to the light image that Beaujolais has.
