This is the perfect aperitif summer wine or by the glass sipping companion.

Pale yellow with light gold reflection, it express a lot of fruit on the nose, peach, apricot, citruses, with some jasmin aromas to complete the bouquet. On the palate it is vibrant, charming and juicy, fresh and complex, it also has some depth thanks to the Sémillon, the minerality is clearly present too, specially on the finish.

Kilian (with his sister Katell) is the second generation of Château Kalian, the main production is focus on Montbazillac village with about 80% white grapes. About 15ha, of organic vineyards on the plateau of Montbazillac, the domaine has diverse soil parcels around the property.

  • Appellation: Bergerac AOC

  • Grapes: 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Sémillon

  • Soil: Clay & Limestone, average 150m altitude with East-West exposure

  • Wine-making: Massale selection. Hand harvest for the Sémillon with direct press in full cluster, mechanical for the Sauvignon Blanc with 24h skin maceration. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tank in low temperatures, recurring batonnages of the lies during stainless steel tank aging. Bottling in April 2024.

  • Yield: 40 hL/ha.

  • Vines: 20 years old, 5000 vines per hectare.

  • Format: 75cl

  • Sulfites: 51 mg/L

  • Alcohol: 13,5%

  • Aging: Drink now till 2028.

  • Serving: 10—12°C
