Céline Metz - Pinot Noir Vielles Vignes - 2018
A beautiful Pinot Noir from Alsace, from old vines (50—60 yo). Is has a strong structure, don’t be fooled, iit is a real red wine for enjoying with meat dishes. It is dense and velvety. Dark red cherry in color, aromas of toasted wood, black ripe fruits, with cacao finish.

Soil: Limestone, sand and clay.
Wine-making: Hand-pick, full closter maceration for 4 weeks, pneumatique pressurage, then fermentation and aging in inox tank for 10 months, followed by 22 months in 228L oak barrels. No filtration for bottling with natural cork
Pairing: Red and wild meat, stew or grilled, with or without sauce. Cold cuts and cheeses boards. Couscous, taboulé, tajines.
