Chapelle & Fils - Santenay 1er cru - Beaurepaire Rouge
Ripe fruit on the nose, silky tannin on the palate, the wine is dense and deep, full of promesses.
Appellation: Santenay 1er Cru (Bourgogne - Côte de Beaune)
Grapes: Pinot Noir
Soil: Clay & Chalk.
Yield: 25 hl/ha
Wine-making: Hand-picked, sorted and de-stemmed (80%). Cold maceration before fermentation for 4 days then in inox tank for 17 days. Aged in oak barrels (30% new ones) for 11 months. Bottled without filtration nor collage.
Longevity: 3—7 years.
