Where the cold Ciron meets the warmer Garonne, autumn mornings bring the mists that spread noble rot (botrytis) across Sémillon and Sauvignon. Grapes are picked berry by berry over several passes, concentrating them into honeyed, long-lived sweet wine. Tiny yields, immense labour.
