Flinty, mineral Sauvignon Blanc at its global benchmark.

Inland, the river bends north and the climate turns continental. On flint (silex), limestone and Kimmeridgian marl, Sauvignon Blanc reaches its most precise, smoky-mineral expression in Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. Sancerre also makes elegant Pinot Noir red and rosé.

Sancerre red is Pinot Noir, not Sauvignon.
